Kimberly Freeman is one of the weirdest and nicest performers I’ve ever met. In addition to her band One-Eyed Doll, she has a couple solo albums under her own name too. One-Eyed Doll, based out of Austin TX, is a 2-person band with Kimberly playing the guitar and doing the stage diving, and Jason Rufuss Sewell a.k.a. Junior on the drums.

Her sweet demeanor is a bit deceptive as she has more energy than anyone in the audience. And she loves her fans. After her set, she sits on a stool next to her table in the back and holds a finger up. The first person to touch her finger is the next person she gives her undivided attention to for however long you want it.

If you see One-Eyed Doll play near you — definitely check them out. Pure entertainment, full energy, and they’re a ton of fun.
