I first heard Kid Moxie on the Yoga Hosers soundtrack. French Disco in Space isn’t their best, but it’s fun and weird and that’s usually enough for me to go looking for more of the same. What I found was a complex synth-pop band with some hauntingly ethereal sounds.
Lacuna is a beautiful video that takes you deep into a 5-minute dreamscape.

I stumbled upon Tessa Violet some time this summer. It’s light and poppy and based mostly on relationship ups and downs. She’s just adorable and has way too much fun with her music. This video is genius. Total geek nerd girl shooting a video in a grocery store. Sorry, I’m not Sorry
