I’ve been a huge fan of Shiny Toy Guns since I saw them at Paris Hall in Ned Devine’s in Boston back in 2010. Note: Jeremy Dawson is also in MXMS of which I’m a big fan of as well. They still tour and put on an amazing show.

My first introduction to the Pixies was probably when I was working in a movie poster store (Pix Poster Cellar) in Harvard Square in the late 80’s. They were formed in Boston in ’86.
The Sheila Divine are a Boston-based group from the late 90’s. Their sound feels very much like the 90’s indie alternative rock scene from Boston. I remember them mostly from this commercial for Cambridge Soundworks. You can hear the whole song here: And a few others…
